Will invite Bangladesh’s first Test squad: Ganguly

BCCI President Sourav GangulyThe first-ever Tigers’ Test squad will be invited to watch the match between India and Bangladesh along with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens beginning from Nov 22, reports Indian media.
“We will invite all the players of that first Test match that Bangladesh played, it was against India. I will write to the Bangladesh Cricket Board and personally as BCCI president to the players of that Indian team,” BCCI President Sourav Ganguly was quoted by PTI as saying on Wednesday (Oct 23).
Ganguly already invited PM Hasina, and will also invite Indian PM Narendra Modi to enjoy both teams in white.
On 2000, Banglaqdesh played its first-ever Test match against India in Bangabandhu Stadium, where Naimur Rahman Durjay was leading Tigers.
On that day, Ganguly took charge of the Indian team. The BCCI chief also wishes to invite the Indian squad that played the match, according to PTI.
