Sloane Steffens, who was ranked 957 six weeks earlier, now the new queen of US Open. She was facing her knee injury and 9 months later she left out from Wimbledon in the first round. But things have changed in the last two months. She won 14 matches in her last 16 matches as she goes through the final of US Open and clinches her maiden grand slam title.

Arthur Ashe Stadium was full of excitement as they knew the title will be in their home as the two finalists were American. Like Steffens, Madison also participates her first grand slam on Saturday. Sloane Steffens and Madison Keys is a friend outside the court but are different when the match starts.  Steffens beat keys in 6-3, 6-0 game.
