India have lost five batsmen in chasing of a 223-run target set by Bangladesh in clash over Asian Cup title in Dubai on Friday.
Nazmul Islam struck in the fifth over as opener Shikhar Dhawan was caught by Soumya Sarkar.
Ambati Rayudu was caught behind in the eighth over as captain Mashrafe Mortaza bagged the wicket.
Rubel Hossain removed Rohit Sharma in the 17th over. Rohit scored 48 off 55 balls hitting three fours and three sixes.
Mahmudullah trapped lbw Dinesh Karthik (37 off 61 balls) in 30.4 over.
MS Dhoni was caught behind in 36.1 overs. Mustafizur Rahman took the wickets.
Kedar Jadav and Rabindra Jadeza were in the crease.
India were 162 for five in 36.4 overs.
Earlier, a century by Liton Das lift Bangladesh to 222 all out in 48.3 overs.
Openers Liton Das and Mehidy Hasan Miraz gave the Tigers a flying start, building a 120-run partnership.
Soumya Sarkar contributed a late 33 off 45 balls before he was run out.
India’s Kuldeep Yadav took a maximum of three wickets and Kedar Jadhav bagged two wickets.
