The government has been paralysed in the wake of students protest for safe roads, says BNP national Standing Committee member Moudud Ahmed.
“A week ago, did we even know this movement would take this turn? … and now the government has taken the strategy to repress them,” Moudud said on Sunday.
Speaking at a programme in the city, the senior BNP leader said, “The students can return home, they can be sued too, but their anger won’t go away.”
“We never go deep of the facts. We have seen the drivers of ministers, lawmakers, and police didn’t have licences. It indicates how much the country is corrupted,” Moudud said.
