The opposition block Jatiya Oikya Front has convened a meeting of its allies to discuss the overall political situation as well as its strategies after the Dhaka City polls.
The meeting of the policymaking Steering Committee has been scheduled for Feb 4 (Tuesday) at the Motijheel offices of the coalition's convener Kamal Hossain, Oikya Front Office Secretary Jahangir Alam Mintu said on Monday (Feb 3).
Sources at the coalition said, Oikya Front would discuss over its strategy and programmes ahead of the second anniversary of BNP chief Khaleda Zia’s imprisonment on Feb 8.
Leaders are also expected to discuss over their next move to protest against the “irregularities” in Dhaka City polls.
