Jatiya Oikya Front leader and Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) President ASM Abdur Rab has urged citizens to cut the wrists of those who would attempt to steal their votes.

He made urge while speaking at a rally of BNP-backed Dhaka North City Corporation mayoral candidate Tabith Awal, at Mirpur-6 on Monday (Jan 20).

"You have to come to vote. You have to come to safeguard your voting right," Rab told the rally.

Urging the people to exercise their right to vote to ensure the freedom of democracy in the country, he also said urged voters to resist any attempts to steal their votes.

He also pressed hopes that if people come to vote and are able to vote, Tabith Awal will be victorious.
