BNP Joint Secretary General Khairul Kabir Khokon has been arrested from the High Court gate on Thursday (Nov 28).

Police arrested him while he was on his way to party chief Khaleda Zia’s bail plea hearing in the Zia Charitable graft case, his wife Shirin Sultana said.

“As far as I know he has been taken to Shahbag police station,” she said.

Shahbag police OC Abul Hasan said Khokon has been arrested over a previous lawsuit being investigated by the Detective Branch.
