Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has organized a rally demanding release and ensuring better treatment for its jailed chairperson Khaleda Zia.
The mass gathering started around 3pm at party’s headquarters in the capital’s Nayapaltan on Friday.
All the wings and associated political forces are to attend the rally, party sources said.
Security has been beefed up centring the meeting in the area.
