Jubo League leaders set for meeting with Hasina

The affiliate body’s central committee presidium members, joint secretary and organising secretary led by General Secretary Harun-ur-Rashid will meet her on Sunday (Oct 20).
The agenda of the meeting is to discuss the upcoming national council of Jubo League, Harun-ur-Rashid told Bangla Tribune.
“The prime minister’s orders have been asked regarding the council and Jubo League chairman’s role,” he said.
There has been much confusion regarding the affiliate body whether Chairman Omar Faruk Chowdhury can remain a part of the organisation amid the many allegations against him.
Faruk who wasn’t at the Oct 11 presidium meeting either is also under the Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) scanner.
