Acting chairman of Jatiya Party (JP) GM Quader has said that the party will run as per Chairman HM Ershad’s instructions.
“Ershad is our leader and party will run as per his directions; we will work together to make the party stronger,” he made the comment on Sunday (May 5) while talking to the media at the chairman’s office.
On Saturday (May 4) night, GM Quader was appointed acting chairman for the second time by Hussain Muhammad Ershad.
GM Quader has said that Ershad cannot work due to physical ailment and his illness has slowed down party activities.
That’s why he has appointed me acting chairman, added Quader.
GM Quader said that he was congratulated by many senior leaders though no senior member of the party was present at the press conference.
