Today (Monday), BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will distribute relief in 4 Rohingya Camps in Ukhiya at 11 am. For this event, she has already reached Cox’s Bazar last night (29 October).
BNP sources say, there are some restrictions to distribute the relief hand to hand to the Rohingyas. So, there is no opportunity for Khaleda Zia to give that relief hand to hand. In this case, all the relief must be handed over to the responsible authorities (Army). However, Khaleda Zia will inaugurate a medical team of Doctors association of Bangladesh (DAB). Besides, she will visit the Rohingya camp.
BNP chairperson's media wing official Syrul Kabir Khan told the Bangla Tribune, ‘Madam (Khaleda Zia) will leave from Cox's Bazar Circuit House on Monday morning. She will visit 4 camps there. Senior leaders of BNP will be with Khaleda Zia.’
Syrul Kabir Khan added that the places of relief are: Balukhali-1, Balukhali-2, Hakimpara & Moynarguna. She will be there from 11 am to 2 pm.
Meanwhile, Khaleda Zia will distribute necessary materials to the pregnant Rohingya mothers. Syrul Kabir Khan informed that BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will distribute the necessary items to the 5000 pregnant Rohingya women and baby food to 5000 children.
‘Before that, BNP leaders in Ukhiya will hand over 45 truck relief to the Army. Meanwhile, BNP standing committee members Mirza Abbas, Nazrul Islam Khan and top leaders of the party will be present there’, he added.
