Workers and activists of BNP are taking part in a mass hunger strike demanding the proper treatment plus release of incarcerated party chief, Khaleda Zia.
The mass hunger-strike began at the Engineers Institute auditorium at 10am on Sunday (Apr 7) and will run till 4pm.
BNP leaders taking part has said that the party chairman was kept behind bars out of vengeance and in false cases.
Chhatra Dal Senior Joint-President Ejmol Hossain Pilot, asserted, “Khaleda Zia cannot be kept behind bars in concocted charges; one day we will free her through a united movement.”
BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul, perty’s Vice Chairman Dr. Zahid Hossain, Abdus Salam and others are present at the mass hunger strike.
