The government have become ‘diabolically exhilarated’ after winning the fake election, says BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.
“Leaders and activists of ruling Awami League and its front bodies are grabbing the opposition supporters’ land and properties and attacking the women, he said on Sunday (Jan 20).
Speaking at a media briefing at the party’s Nayapaltan office, Rizvi said, “They (AL men) are sparing no one including children.”
Referring to the ruling Awami League’s Dhaka rally, the senior BNO leader said “They spent extravagant money but failed to celebrate the victory.
At the Saturday rally, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had thanked people for re-electing saying “people voted Awami League to power spontaneously.”
“Hearing her remarks, people don’t know whether they would laugh or cry,” Rizvi said.
Rizvi claimed that police stanched the people right to vote on the previous night of the voting day.
“They (police) sincerely stuffed the ballot for ‘boat,” he said.
