Jatiya Party Secretary General Mashiur Rahman Ranga has been picked to serve at the chief whip for the main opposition in the 11th National Parliament.

In a statement signed on Friday (Jan 4), party chief HM Ershad said that Mashiur Rahman Ranga is being appointed as the chief whip of the parliament opposition.

The former dictator also said that he will serve as the opposition leader in the 11th National Parliament while party Co Chairman Golam Quader will become the Deputy Leader of the opposition.

Ershad made the statement in a press release issued on Friday.
