BNP alleges votes rigged in advance in over 100 seats

The party’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the allegation in a media call on Sunday (Dec 30) at BNP headquarters in Nayapaltan.
“Awami goons took control of polling centres last night and casted false votes,” he alleged and added, “In some centres, 70 percent of votes were cast in the night.”
Slapping the government of masterminding lopsided polls all along, he said, “The first two hours were enough to prove what their plan is.”
BNP Shyampur union president Abdul Aziz was hacked to death and Dhaka-4 seat’s BNP candidate Salahuddin was shot today, said Rizvi.
“Under Sheikh Hasina, election can never be fair,” said the senior BNP leader.
