Arrests, attacks on BNP leaders continuing: Rizvi

“BNP Vice Chairman Giasuddin Quader Chowdhury was wrongfully sent to jail when he went to plead for bail in a false case,” he told the media at the party headquarters on Friday (Nov 23).
The senior politician further reiterated that Awami League leaders have already started rallies and promotions under the electoral symbol of ‘boat’ even though the official election campaigns have not yet begun.
On the other hand, police and AL activists are stopping BNP aspirants from entering certain territories and attacking during small meetings.
Oikya Front wrote to the Election Commission to remove lawmen that are not neutral but they rejected it, he said.
Rizvi claims that everything has been designed in the government’s favour to rig the polls.
