BNP is trying to provoke a civil war in the country in the name of guarding the polls stations, said Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader.
“They are trying to foil the polls atmosphere and create a hostile environment through their comments that are getting aggressive by the day,” he told the media on Thursday (Nov 22).
BNP will always maintain friendly ties with Jamaat-e-Islami to stop AL, the road transport and bridges minister commented.
“The Election Commission’s behaviour does not seem biased to AL,” Quader said to a question from journalists.
He said that there is no truth to the stories in media about the nominations, adding, “Nomination will be given to those who have a chance at winning. There will be no compromise in this regard.”
