British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Alison Blake has met the Jukta Front chief and Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB) President Dr AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury on Thursday (Nov 15).

A three-member delegation led by British envoy Alison Blake met the former president at his Baridhara residence around 1pm, Badruddoza Chowdhury's Press Secretary Jahangir Alam told Bangla Tribune.

Bikalpa Dhara Secretary General Major (Retd.) Abdul Mannan, the party’s Presidium Member Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury, Mahi B Chowdhury were present in the meeting while British Deputy High Commissioner to Bangladesh Kanbar Hossein-Bor and Political Analyst for the High Commission Ezazur Rahman accompanied the british envoy.

In the hour-long meeting, the high commission delegation discussed about issues of mutual interest including the upcoming election, B Chy’s Advisor on foreign affairs, Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury told media after the meeting.

We talked about a free and fair election, added Mobin.
