Awami League is dispatching a delegation to China to improve bilateral relations between the two countries.
The16-member delegation led by AL Presidium member Faruq Khan will start for China on Sunday (Oct 28) at the invitation of its ruling Communist Party.
Faruq said that the visit will address various issues to elevate the political relations between the two countries to new heights.
Given that China is closely related to the development process of Bangladesh, the delegation will also discuss how to further strengthen China-Bangladesh diplomatic ties, he added.
In September last year, a 19-member AL delegation visited China. The same way the Bangladesh government also hosted the ruling party in China a few times.
China, one of the superpowers in the world, is the biggest trading partner of Bangladesh and has also invested in various sectors in the country.
