Hefazat-e-Islam thinks to liberate Arakan is the only solution to the Rohingya problem of Myanmar. Hefazat’s Dhaka City President Maulana Noor Hossain Kashemi said, ‘Arakan liberate is the only way to solve the Rohingya problem. Without the independence of Arakan, it is not possible to restore the peace of Rohingyas.

A gathering in front of Dhaka's Baitul Mukarram he said these before the demonstrations of Hefazat-e-Islam on Friday (September 15th). Hefazat activists held a procession at the Baitul Mukarram after the brief rally. The procession ended at the house building turn through the Paltan from the north gate of Baitul Mukarram.

Maulana Noor Hossain Kashemi said, "The Burmese government is committing genocide. The houses are being burnt in the Rakhine area. I will call upon the people of Bangladesh to stand beside the Rohingyas. Arrange food for them and give medical treatment. Continue diplomatic efforts to bring Rohingyas back home. I am requesting the Bangladesh government to take initiatives to solve this problem through war. It is the right time to do this.

Urging the Prime Minister to make strong diplomatic efforts to solve the Rohingya crisis and to return to their homeland, Kashemi said, ‘The Prime Minister went to Rohingya refugee camp. I request the Prime Minister to play a vital role in resolving the Rohingya crisis.
