People want Jatiya Party to be in power says the party chief HM Ershad.
“I am confident that people will vote for ‘plough.’ Jatiya Party members and leaders of the United National Alliance have to work hard to achieve this,” he said at an event in his office on Tuesday.
The former military dictator has also called on the party leaders to overcome all obstacles and march towards victory.
Ershad is now a special envoy to the prime minister while his wife Raushon Ershad, the party's senior co-chairman, is the leader of the opposition.
