The Awami League has called for a citizens' rally on Saturday (Sept 29) at the capital’s Mahanagar Nattyamancha auditorium in Gulistan.
Senior leader Mohammad Nasim, who also serves as the spokesperson of the 14-party Alliance, made the announcement at a media briefing on Monday.
The announcement came after a meeting of political coalition led by the Awami League.
AL Joint General Secretary, Abdur Rahman, Organizing Secretaries, Ahmed Hossain and Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury and representatives of the other parties in the alliance attended the meeting.
