BNP`s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi. File PhotoThe masses and party members have no confidence on medical recommendations given by the five member medical board of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) on the health of Khaleda Zia, said BNP senior joint secretary general, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.
The senior BNP politician made the comments on Monday while talking to the media at the party central office in Noya Paltan.
The government wants the health condition of Khaleda to deteriorate, he commented.
Saying that BSMMU does not have modern equipment, Rizvi bemoaned, “This hospital does not have a specialized MRI machine which is available at private hospitals; we also need neutral doctors for improved treatment.”
Rizvi alleged that the medical board was reflecting the will of the government.
This is a ‘manufactured’ medical report which did not include her private physicians.
“We demand inclusion of her doctors in the board and ensure Khaleda Zia’s treatment at a specialised private hospital.”
