Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s remarks on the Aug 21 grenade attack may affect the verdict in the cases over the incident which is expected by October, says the BNP.
“PM Hasina’s remarks involving BNP Acting Chairman Tareque Zia will influence the verdict in the Aug 21 grenade attack case. The judges won’t deliver a proper verdict after her speeches,” BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said on Wednesday (Aug 22).
Speaking to the media after placing wreath on the party founder late president Ziaur Rahman’s grave, Mirza Fakhrul claimed that attempts were underway to punish Khaleda and Tareque again in the name of justice.
