The fire service digital database is being built by South Korean finance. South Korea and Economic Relations Division (ERD) has signed a contract on Technical Assistant Project (TA) to create a database of all major buildings in the capital. The project director and home ministry's joint secretary of the fire service development project Mr. Ataul Haque said that they will donate Tk 65 crores to create this database. The project is now waiting for the finance ministry's approval. This database will be started after getting an authorization from it.
The fire service project director told the Bangla Tribune that, ‘When the database is created in digital format, it will be possible to take quick legal action against the builders without the sanction. This Database will also be linked with Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) so that the Fire Service Authority can make a quick decision to jump in the rescue operation. "
The whole building of the ‘Sea-Shell Chinese Restaurant and Party Center’, on the main road of Sector 4 in the city's Uttara area, was burnt to ashes on July 3. After that, the fire spread to two more buildings. They also cause extensive damage. Two men burnt to death in a residential hotel in the building.

Fire service officials said that the Fire Service Authority cannot take any action directly for the violation of fire service laws. To implement the law, we have to take help from other agencies. Sometimes the Fire Service rules have a plan to run a mobile court against the violators, but after the High Court's rule, the plan also canceled. However, in this regard, it is also important to give power to the Fire Service.
Joint Secretary Ataul Haque told the Bangla Tribune, "The power of fire service has increased a lot now. Still, the activities of fire service are being modernized in any disaster in the country. "He said," The buildings built according to the construction rule of RAJUK and Fire Service, will have a very limited impact on the earthquake even in seven magnitudes. Apart from this, all the buildings, which are risky for the city's fire, have been identified. They will be recommended to take legal action against them, he said.
