Several airlines in Bangladesh have canceled flights to India from Mar 14 since the country suspended tourist visas till Apr 15.
On Wednesday (Mar 11), India suspended all existing visas except for diplomatic, official, UN, international organization, employment and project visas.
The suspension will come into effect on March 13 and will remain till April 15.
Novo Air authorities said that the passengers will be able to get a refund on their tickets.
US Bangla Airlines Director General Kamrul Islam said that flights in the Chennai route will be suspended from Mar 15 and the Kolkata route from Mar 16.
Meanwhile, national flag carrier, Biman Bangladesh Airlines has decided to cancel all its flights to Delhi and Kolkata in India from Mar 14.
