The hotline has been introduced on Sunday (Feb 23).

Expatriates can call +8809612106106 between 9am and 5pm Bangladesh local time, reports UNB.

On Feb 19, the ACC used the phone number of one of its officials for receiving complaints from expatriates.

In two days, the ACC received over a hundred complaints from expatriates in Australia, France, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Malaysia.

ACC said most of the complaints were related to land, shops, law and order, irregularities of travel agencies and Akama. However, these complaints are not under the ACC’s purview.
