The court has asked the money to be submitted to bar council.

The orders came from an appellate bench led by Justice Hasan Foez Siddique on Sunday (Feb 23).

Earlier, the UGC issued a rule limiting the number of students to be admitted to each semester to fifty. The students then applied to take part in the bar council exam but when the council refused to take more than fifty the students lodged a writ at High Court.

Later, High Court ordered the bar council to allow the students to fill forms and be registered for exam. After this, the bar council made an appeal to the appellate division.
