The fourth edition of the DPS Model United Nations Conference was held at DPS STS School Dhaka between Feb 13 and Feb 15.
At least 430 students coming from 33 different schools in Bangladesh have attended the event.
"This conference gives students real-life experience in writing, leadership, teamwork and persuasive skills and greater knowledge of global issues,” said the school’s Vice Principal Madhu Wal, while addressing the inauguration ceremony.
“No other programme offers this opportunity like a MUN, to develop the kind of skill set and understanding of the world that they need to be to become active and contributing citizens," he said.
According to the organisers, they had left no stone unturned in ensuring that our delegates received the best experience possible, encompassing both the development of key communication, research and diplomacy skills.
