The Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) have restricted the use of sticker containing its logo on any kind of vehicle.
BCL President Al Nahean Khan Joy and General Secretary Lekhak Bhattacharya issued a notice regarding the matter on Friday (Feb 14).
The ruling party’s student front directs its leaders, activists not to use any BCL’s logo printed sticker on the vehicle.
Speaking to Bangla Tribune, Lekkhak said, “We have noticed that, many vehicles with BCL’s logo printed sticker ply around.”
“The organisation receives criticism when the drivers violate laws,” he said.
Admitting using a sticker with the logo wouldn’t be a problem if the drivers obeyed laws, he said, “However, they can’t damage the organisation’s image and make trouble for people by using the logo.”
He echoed the instruction of the notice before noting that the logo was the property of the student body.
