The public administration ministry has been ordered to carry out the order within a month.

The order was given after Human Rights and Peace for Bangladesh (HRPB) filed a writ in this regard.
The director general (DG) of the DoE was also ordered to submit a report on March 10, after formulating a guideline to prevent pollution and improve air quality in the country with expert help.
Adv Manzil Murshid stood for the writ petitioner while Deputy Attorney General ABM Abdullah Al Mahmud Bashar represented the state. Adv Amatul Karim stood for the DoE.
On January 13, the High Court summoned the DoE DG Dr AKM Rafique Ahammed for his explanation about the air quality of the capital and the human resource of DoE.
