The government has appointed 129 executive magistrates to maintain law and orders situation during the Dhaka City polls, scheduled for Feb 1.
On Sunday (Jan 26), public administration ministry has issued a circular regarding this.
It said, “The appointed magistrates will run mobile courts for the period between Jan 30 to Feb 2 to maintain law and order in the electoral areas.”
According to the circular, the magistrates are asked to join under Dhaka district magistrate on Jan 29. The district magistrate will distribute the duties among them as per necessity.
