The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has arrested four suspects in the attempted murder case filed by Liberation War Museum Trustee Sarwar Ali.
A special team of PBI Dhaka Metro (North) has arrested Nazmul, who is the prime suspect in the case, from Gazipur’s Shalna area and three others from different parts of the country.
“Three separate teams of the unit were working on the case for several past days,” PBI Superintendent of Police (SP) Rezaul Masud told media on Wednesday (Jan 22).
“The details of the arrests will be revealed on a media call on Thursday (Jan 23),” he said.
On Jan 5, two miscreants entered Ali’s Uttara residence and allegedly attempted to murder him.

In the next day, Ali filed an attempted murder case with Uttara West police accusing five people.
