Complaints rise against technical board inspector Abdul Kuddus

Inspector of technical education board, Abdul Kuddus SardarInspector of technical education board, Abdul Kuddus Sardar, is accused of giving academic recognition to institutes without proper supervision.

The board has alleged that due to such negligence, the image of the board is suffering.
As per rules, Abdus Kuddus Sardar has been serving as inspector of the board on deputation from Aug 22, 2016. Soon after joining, he was accused of neglecting supervision and monitoring.
On Jan 3, 2019, the then chairman of the technical board, Mostafizur Rahman wrote a letter to the education secretary and demanded the cancellation of the deputation of Abdul Kuddus.
Show cause did not yield any result.
Reportedly, he is still in is position despite complaints.
Abdul Kuddus was ordered to present false documents of the Moksudpur Polytechnic Institute on Oct 3, 2017, but he did not do so. As a result, former chairman, Md Mostafizur Rahman asked him to provide a valid reason for his unwillingness to comply with the instructions but when the chairman was transferred the matter slipped away from focus.
It’s also found that while Kuddus is irregular in monitoring and inspection, he is present at all teacher appointment committees.
There are allegations that he has been involved in unethical activities in exchange for bribes.
The current chairman of the technical education board, Dr Morad Hossain Mollah, says, “I took many steps against irregularities and will look into the matter.”
Meanwhile, Abdul Kuddus, says, “The accusations brought against me are inaccurate.”
