Three workers were electrocuted to death during construction work in Dhaka.
The incident was reported on Wednesday (Jan 22) from near Sikder Medical College Hospital.
Police identified the deceased as Joru Sheikh, Saiful Sheikh and Manjurul, all three of whom died on spot.
An iron pipe connected with an 11,000 volt power cable while the victims were working on a pillar for a river training project for Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Association (BIWTA), said Hajaribag police Inspector Zakir Hossain.
He added that the bodies have been sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
