The met office predicted mainly dry weather in most parts with the temporary partly cloudy sky over the country until tomorrow.

Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the country from midnight to tomorrow morning, said a met office bulletin on Tuesday (Jan 21).

Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur division and the districts of Madaripur, Tangail, Mymensingh, Moulvibazar, Rajshahi, Pabna, Naogaon, Jashore and Chuadanga and it may continue and spread, said the bulletin.

Day temperature may fall slightly over the eastern part of the country and may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country.

However, night temperature may fall slightly over the country, added it.

The highest temperature on Monday was recorded 29.7 degree Celsius in Teknaf of Chattogram division, while today’s lowest temperature is 07.2 degree Celsius in Tetulia of Rangpur division.
