WANA (West Asia News Agency)/Nazanin Tabatabaee via REUTERSIran will retaliate the death of General Qassem Soleimani who was killed in a US attack on Friday.
In a statement, the Iranian embassy in Dhaka said, “The unwise and heartless perpetrators of this horrible crime should know that they will receive a teeth-shattering response.”
Head of Iran’s Quds Army, General Soleimani, was killed when a rocket hit his convoy near the Baghdad airport.
The statement said the blatant act of the United States in dastardly assassinating the commander is the symbol of unilateralism, criminality and encroachment upon Iraq’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
“This wicked action violated all the international rules and laws as well as the regional peace and stability and it was aimed at escalating tensions and war-mongering.”
The US is now viewed as the embodiment of “State Terrorism” by the freedom-living nations of the world and its government is considered the most hated of all the governments, the statement said.
“This assassination once again bears witness to this reality. Those running the White House and Pentagon should know that the era of bullying and hit-and-run is long gone and a harsh vengeance awaits the criminals on whose hands the pure blood of this free man and others martyred in this nefarious crime will remain forever.”
