ACC chief Iqbal Mahmood addressing orientation program in Dhaka on Thursday (Jan 2)Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has claimed to be free from lobbying and irregularities in its recruitments.
“No lobbying can influence over the dismissal of any official, as they have been recruited without bribery, irregularities or lobbying,” said ACC chief Iqbal Mahmood said during a program in Dhaka on Thursday (Jan 2).
“There is no second chance if any official gets involved in unscrupulous activities,” he warned before adding that it was ACC’s administrative strategy.
“Any official’s negligence during duty can damage the image of the commission. It’s a 24-hour job. No one can deny any call for drive, even at late night,” Mahmood said.
He added that employees have to respond to the instructions whenever it’s given.
