Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted that rain may occur at many parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9am on Tuesday (Dec 31).
“Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Rajshahi, Pabna, Nagaon, Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Panchagarah, Jashore and Kushtia and it may continue at some places over the country, ” said a Met office bulletin issued on Tuesday morning.
Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, reports BSS.
Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during midnight to morning.
Night and day temperature may rise by one or two degree Celsius over the country.
The highest temperature on Monday (Dec 30) was recorded as 27.2 degree Celsius in Sylhet while today’s minimum temperature was 5.2 degree Celsius in Tentulia.
