Temperature drops to 5.7 degree Celsius in Tetulia on Dec 26The country’s lowest temperature so far this year was recorded 5.7 degree Celsius at Panchagarh’s Tetulia on Thursday (Dec 26) morning, according to Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
Light rain or drizzle is likely to occur at southern regions of the country, Madaripur, Faridpur and its surroundings in Dhaka division, said metrologist Arif Hossain.
Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Rajshahi and it may continue, said Hossain.Temperature drops to 5.7 degree Celsius in Tetulia on Dec 26
On Wednesday, 6.2 degree Celsius temperature was recorded in Tetulia, the last border town in Bangladesh’s north, while it dropped to 5.7 degree Celsius on Thursday.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country in the next 24 hours commencing Thursday 9 am, according to Met office.
Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the country during Thursday midnight till Friday morning.
Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the northern part of the country and it may rise slightly elsewhere and day temperature may fall slightly over the country.
