The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has procured 22 modern machineries for speedy and effective mosquito elimination.
As many as 20 power spray machines and two vehicle mounting fogger machines have been purchases, a DNCC statement said on Wednesday (Dec 4), reports BSS.
Three more fogger machines will be bought soon, it added.
DNCC will supply ten areas with two mist blowers each to destroy the eggs and larvae of the Malaria and other mosquitoes.
The vehicle mounting fogger machines bought from Germany will be used to destroy adult mosquitoes bearing viruses.
Earlier on Nov 21, DNCC Mayor Atiqul Islam inaugurated the mist blower machines.
