All SC affidavit wing officials transferred

File Photo/Sazzad HossainThe Supreme Court administration has transferred all officials of the affidavit division after the chief justice expressed displeasure at irregularities in the said department, said special officer of the supreme court, Mohammad Saifur Rahman.
Earlier, on Monday (Dec 2), Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain expressed dissatisfaction over the affidavit section.
On Monday, the chief justice commented: “Though we have placed CCTV cameras, people now go outside the room to do the affidavits.”
At that time, Attorney General Mahbubey Alam, was present and said: “Many have become wealthy by fiddling with the case list.”
The chief justice also lamented: “Many lawyers of the state do not come to court because they are paid high salaries; if their salaries went down they would have come regularly.”
The chief justice called the deputy registrar Mehedi Hassan, and expressed discontentment over aberrations in case serials. Later, he ordered the deputy registrar to properly carry out his duties.
