A light earthquake was felt in India-Myanmar border area Monday (Dec 2) at 7 hours 12 minutes 44 seconds (BST), said a Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) media release.
The epicenter of the tremor was 334 kilometre south-east from the Seismic Centre of the BMD at Agargaon in the city, the release added.
The magnitude of the tremor was measured at 4.6 on the Richter Scale.
