Gulshan attack convict didn’t obtain IS cap from jail: Probe

A report saying that the cap was not obtained from within the jail, was submitted to the inspector general of prisons on Saturday (Nov 30), Dhaka Divisional Deputy Inspector General of prisons Tipu Sultan told Bangla Tribune.
Sources said that the CCTV footages of the convicts were checked and those responsible for searching them were also questioned.
Rakibul Hasan Rigan, one of the convicts of the deadly attack came out of the court donning a black clap with the IS insignia, sparking criticism about the jail authorities.
The probe committee was formed a day after seven people were handed death penalty over the attack on Holey Artisan Bakery.
