A Dhaka court has granted bail to BNP's Vice Chairman Major (retd) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, Joint Secretary General Khairul Kabir Khokon in a case on charges of attacking police in front of the Supreme Court during a demonstration on Tuesday (Nov 26).
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Abu Sayed has passed the order on Thursday (Nov 28), while he denied Ramna police's 10-day remand plea for interrogation.
Earlier on the day, Hafiz and Khokon have been arrested from the High Court gate.
Apart from them, Nationalist Hawkers Party’s former General Secretary Mokbul Hossain has been granted bail over the same case.
