SAZZAD HOSSAIN/File PhotoThe Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed a case against former Biman Bangladesh Airlines CEO Abul Muneem Mosaddique Ahmed and three other senior officials over irregularities in recruitment of pilots.
ACC’s Assistant Director Md Saiful Islam lodged the case with Coordinated District Office, Dhaka-1 on Monday (Nov 25), said Deputy Director (Public Relations) Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya.
The three other Biman officials are Director (Flight Operations) Captain Farhad Hassan Jamil, former director (Administration) Partha Kumar Pandit and Manager (Employment) Fakhrul Hossain Chowdhury.
According to the case document, the four accused have manipulated the recruitment of cadet pilots in 2018.
Mosaddique has allegedly abused his office to downgrade recruiting requirements for his nephew and 30 others, ignoring standard procedures.
