The authorities of National University (NU) have deferred all the examinations scheduled for Saturday (Nov 9) due to Cyclone Bulbul.
A fresh schedule for the examinations will be announced later, said a media release of the National University’s public relations department on Friday (Nov 8).
Other exams will be held according to the earlier schedule, added the media release.
Severe cyclonic storm 'Bubul' was over east-central bay and adjoining area, moved north-northwestwards over the same area and was centred in Friday evening about 620km south-southwest of Chattogram port, 585km south-southwest of Cox’s Bazar port, 495km south of Mongla port and 490 km south of Payra port, Met Office said in special weather bulletin on Friday evening.
The Met Office also asked maritime ports of Mongla and Payra to hoist danger signal number ten, and ports of Chattogram to hoist danger signal number nine.
