The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) will question the managing director of Dhaka Bank over allegations of bribery, abuse of office and loan disbursement irregularities.
Syed Mahbubur Rahman, who is also the chief executive officer of the private bank, has been served with a summon notice on Wednesday (Oct 30).
He has been told appear before investigators on Nov 6 at the ACC headquarters in the capital’s Segunbagicha.
Rahman, who has served in senior management in several banks, joined Dhaka Bank as its top official in November 2018.
