41st BCS circular likely in November

Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC)The circular of 41st Bangladesh Civil Services (BCS) will be published in November, says Bangladesh Public Service Commission Chairman (PSC) Mohammad Sadiq.
The decision on publishing the circular on will be finalised this week or the next, he said on Monday (Oct 28).
The PSC chief could not reveal any specific date on issuing it.
According to sources at the PSC, the circular is likely to be published by the first of November.
As per the demand letter sent by the public administration ministry to the PSC, the 41st BCS circular will be published against a total of 2,135 posts in different cadres.
A maximum of 915 posts will be under education cadre while 323 post under administration, 100 for police, and 110 posts for assistant surgeon under the health cadre.
There will be 25 posts under foreign cadre, 23 for Ansar, 60 posts for assistant tax commissioner and another 23 for assistant commissioner (customs and duties).
The circular of 40th BCS was published on Sept 11, 2018.
As many as 412,532 candidates registered for the preliminary test with 20,277 coming out successful in the test held on May 3 this year.
