Low causes rain distress across Bangladesh

“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Sylhet and Mymensingh divisions; at a few places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over northeastern part of the country,” said a Met Office weather bulletin.

The low over coastal Odisha and adjoining area now lies over North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh, said the bulletin.

However, the day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
